Welcome back to Revomania! Between 2000 and 2012, this site introduced thousands of pilots to the “revo.” With permission from its author, Juan Faura, we’re republishing these resources — translated into French and English — so this heritage is accessible to everyone again.
Behind the scenes, this has been a true labor of love: recover the original pages, clean and re-layout them, translate, restore nearly 40 animations, and bring everything up to date. The result: ready-to-use plans, clear step-by-steps, and concrete tips to build, tune, and fly your quad-line kites.
Thank you, Juan, for the trust 🙏. QuadKites.org carries the adventure forward with modern guides and fresh resources around quad-line kites (and beyond). Enjoy the rediscovery!

The “revo” plans, by Revomania.com
Ready-to-use plans for the staple models (Revo 1.5, 1, 2, mini, indoor), with Juan’s notes to help you choose by skill level and wind. You’ll also find handle info so you can match length and grip to each sail. It’s the ideal starting point to pick your first (or next) revo.
Building a “revo” kite
A clear step-by-step from paper templates to a finished sail: hot cutting, assembly, leading edge (mesh/Dacron), grommets… then bridle, end caps/connectors, bungees, and handle making. Each step is illustrated to avoid common pitfalls and get a clean, reliable result on your first build.
Learn to fly & STACK figures
Start with good habits: clean rigging, line-set management, and tangle-free winding. Then move into fundamentals (launches, descents, turns, reverse), and explore solo and paired figures — perfect to structure sessions and progress solo or as a team.
