DTN01 – Cross and square up

Description
The kites move on horizontal lines facing each other two by two and heading toward the center of the window. Just after crossing at the center, the kites perform a square upward simultaneously before resuming their course
Entry / Exit
- The IN is given when the kites, on both sides, are well aligned on the same vertical line and at equal distance from the center of the window.
- The OUT is given when the kites, on both sides, are well aligned on the same vertical line and at equal distance from the center of the window.
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally).
- The squares must be regular (sides of equal size) and well synchronized.
DTN02 – Power dive

Description
The kites descend parallel and at the same speed then perform side by side and at the same time a small circle of 540° (1½ turns) so as to find themselves oriented toward the sky to finish by rising back to the same level as at the start.
Entry / Exit
- The IN is given when all the kites, aligned on the same line, head toward the ground.
- The OUT is given when all the kites, aligned on the same line, have risen back to the starting level.
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (vertically).
- The circles must be regular, identical (of equal size) and well synchronized
DTN03 – Chase, parallel flight and square down

Description
The kites move in chase mode on a horizontal line then rise at a right angle, still in chase mode, on one side of the window. Once all well aligned vertically, they all turn at the same time at a right angle so as to move in parallel on 3 lines. Midway, they perform a square downward before resuming their course each on their line parallel to that of the other kites.
Entry / Exit
- The IN is given when all the kites are aligned on the same line, heading toward one side of the window in chase mode.
- The OUT is given when all the kites, aligned on the same vertical line, head toward the other side of the window on as many parallel horizontal lines as there are kites.
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (vertically).
- The kites must move at the same speed and remain aligned along a vertical axis throughout the parallel flight phase.
- The sides of the squares must be of identical size and the squares well synchronized.
DTN04 – Offset

Description
The kites move in chase mode on the same horizontal line then rise at a right angle all together (in parallel). During the ascent, they turn one by one toward the outside of the window so as to find themselves in parallel flight, each on a line and all the kites aligned on a vertical line.
Entry / Exit
- The IN is given when all the kites are aligned on the same line, heading toward the center of the window in chase mode.
- The OUT is given when all the kites, aligned on the same vertical line, head toward the outside side of the window on as many parallel horizontal lines as there are kites.
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally and vertically).
- The kites must respect the spacing during the chase flight phase (at the start).
- The kites must move at the same speed and remain aligned along a vertical axis during the parallel flight phase (at the end).
DTN05 – Vertical eight

Description
In chase mode on a horizontal line, the kites perform simultaneously a large vertical 8, on both sides of the central axis of the window, before resuming their course on the same horizontal line as at the start of the figure.
Entry / Exit
- The IN is given when the kites, aligned on the same horizontal line, are ready to execute the 8.
- The OUT is given when the kites, after having performed their 8, are well aligned on the same horizontal line as at the start.
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally).
- The 8s must be regular and well synchronized.
DTN06 – Parallel flight + loops

Description
The kites move on parallel horizontal lines and perform at the same time two small loops (complete turn on wing tip) upward, one on each side of the axis of the center of the window.
Entry / Exit
- The IN is given when the kites fly parallel to each other on horizontal lines while being aligned along a vertical axis.
- The OUT is given when the kites, after having performed their 2 synchronized loops, continue to fly on their respective starting line while being aligned along a vertical axis.
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally).
- The loops must be of the right size (neither too large, nor too small), regular and well synchronized.
DTN07 – Spirals

Description
The kites in chase mode on the same horizontal line perform simultaneously on both sides of the center of the window a spiral then resume their course in chase mode on another horizontal line.
Entry / Exit
See diagram
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally).
- The spirals must be regular and well synchronized.
DTN08 – Descending ladder

Description
The kites move in chase mode and perform a descent made of regular steps obtained via right-angle turns.
Entry / Exit
See diagram
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally and vertically).
- The speed and spacing between the kites must be constant.
DTN09 – The bulb

Description
The kites move in chase mode on a horizontal line. They then perform a bulb in parallel (and synchronized), which consists of a right angle, an ascent, a portion of a circle, a descent, then a new right angle to resume their course in chase mode on the same horizontal line as at the start of the figure.
Entry / Exit
See diagram
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally and vertically).
- The bulbs must be regular, of equal size and well synchronized.
DTN10 – Parking

Description
The kites move in tight chase mode on the same horizontal line. They spread out a bit from each other to perform squares (each one) distributed on both sides of the axis of the center of the window and of the axis represented by their flight line. Thus, the odd kites (in the order of the chase) perform a square downward while the even kites perform a square upward. Then they resume their flight in chase mode on the same horizontal line while tightening the spacing between the kites.
Entry / Exit
See diagram
Tips / Key elements
- The lines must be straight and aligned relative to the ground (horizontally and vertically).
- The squares must be regular and well synchronized. Their sides must be of equal size.
