Modify and tune your kite

Modifying an existing kite means understanding what you want to change: wind range, sail pressure, stability, transport or behavior on slack lines. A solution that helps one model may be unsuitable for another.

The resources below document modifications shared by different kitefliers. Observe the intended effects, check dimensions and proceed gradually when the modification is hard to reverse.

Changes to bridles, connectors or ventilation alter kite behavior. Check the geometry, measurements and model before changing lines or cutting a sail.
