KiteLife indoor quad-line tutorials
These eight tutorials by John Barresi, published by KiteLife, teach you to fly an indoor quad-line kite in a hall without wind: the pilot creates the wind by walking. They are free on YouTube.
John Barresi demonstrates on the Revolution Indoor; the principles are the same for indoor quad-line kites in general, but sail size, weight and handles vary from one model to another.
The videos are in English and have no captions on YouTube. Each card leads to the video’s page, where takeaways and timed chapters transcribe what John Barresi says, with a link that moves the video to the right moment. QuadKites.org made the transcript with a speech-recognition tool, then cleaned it by hand.
KiteLife also has an advanced indoor catch-and-throw tutorial for subscribers only: it is not covered here. For outdoor flying, see the page KiteLife quad-line tutorials. All the tutorials are listed on kitelife.com.
Beginner level
Section titled "Beginner level"Four videos to assemble the kite, launch it and hold a circle.

Indoor Rev: introduction
What makes a quad-line kite fly indoors without wind, and how its controls work. The opening of the indoor series, with handles and hand position.

Indoor Rev: assembly and disassembly
Assembling and taking apart an indoor Revolution, which has no bridle but head bridles to watch. You see why each connector goes all the way in and how to put the sail away.

Indoor Rev: launch and 360
The first indoor take-off, against a wall or without one, then the 360. You see why flying indoors means saving movement and keeping pressure in the sail.

Indoor Rev: relaunch
Relaunching an indoor Revolution that has fallen flat. The video shows why pulling hard fails and how a gentle walk back stands it up again.
Intermediate level
Section titled "Intermediate level"Four videos to change direction, slide, go over your head and catch or throw the kite.

Indoor Rev: redirection
Changing direction indoors: in flight, by landing or on the ground. You also see how to stay in your area in a shared venue.

Indoor Rev: slide and float
The slide, or float, from a 360: changing the angle little by little to the point where the kite still lifts. You see the mistake that flattens it.

Indoor Rev: up and over
The up and over indoors: taking the kite over your head and deciding beforehand what you will do on the other side. You see how to land, exit in a turn or slow the descent.

Indoor Rev: basic catch and throw
Catching and throwing an indoor Revolution. You see how to work the lines so it comes to your hand, then the check to make before each throw.
