Safety by Fly 4 Fun

Transcript

  1. When you fly a kite, safety always comes first. A kite can reach high speed, and if you hit someone or something, you can cause serious damage, so use common sense. Make sure there is always enough flying space in front of you. Spectators, especially children, should always stay behind you. Watch out for animals, especially dogs, which can be drawn to the kite and get nervous. Horses are extremely frightened by kites and can easily throw their rider. Never fly close to airports, roads or freeways, as you can cause serious accidents. Last but not least, never ever fly close to power lines or in a thunderstorm: lightning is deadly.
