Key takeaways from this video
- Start from a stable upright hover, then make the kite back up until it flips.
- As soon as it flips, give a quick pull on the top lines to bring it back to its normal position.
- The same move can be chained in a quarter-turn clockwork, with a flic flac at each position.
Transcript
Today, the flic flac: the kite flips over so you see the back of the sail, then flips right back.
To begin, get to a stable upright hover. From there, back the kite down in reverse until it flips over; as soon as it flips, give a quick pull on the top lines so it flips back to its normal position.
You can also see it in a quarter-turn clockwork with flic flacs: at each position, I pull down on the bottom lines until the kite flips, then bring my thumbs back so it returns to its normal position every time.
