Packing your Revolution by Now’Air
Taking a Revolution apart and rolling its sail into its bag without damaging it. You see the order of the rods and where to put the bridles.

Key takeaways from this video
- Take the kite apart starting with the feet, then release the leading edge by holding the middle rod and turning it slightly outward; the sail ends up folded in three.
- Roll the sail loosely rather than tightly and smooth out creases, so the Icarex or nylon stays in good condition.
- Tuck the bridles inside the sail before the last turns so they cannot catch in the pouch.

Getting the pouch
0:09We have seen how to store the lines on the winder with the handles. In this short tutorial we will see how to pack the kite. First, of course, get the pouch you carefully protected with a little sand, or in your bag so as not to lose it.
Taking the rods apart
0:40We saw during assembly that the kite is made of five rods: the two vertical foot rods and the leading edge, which is in three pieces, two outer rods and one inner rod with connectors. The rods are about the same length. To take your kite apart, start with the feet: take off one foot and keep the rod, then take off the other. Then undo an outer connector and pull the leading edge rod out: hold the middle rod and turn slightly outward to release the rod. Once it is released, fold the sail in two and do the same on the other side. Your kite is now folded in three parts.
Rolling the sail
1:46Smooth out the sail if it is a little creased, put your two rods inside and roll. Do not roll tightly; the aim is not to crease the sail too much. I usually lay the kite on the ground to put the bridles away. Some people roll it all the way, but the little bridles can get caught anywhere in the pouch. I put the bridles inside the sail like this and finish rolling. Then smooth the sail a little so it is stored properly and your Icarex or nylon stays in good condition.
Into the pouch
2:46Slide your kite into the pouch and close it. On pouches bought in a shop, there may be a pocket here where you can slip your lines. And your kite is ready to fly again next time. See you in the next tutorial, on flying.
